Have we changed our name from “STS Roundtable & Global Network” to ‘Global Network for SMART Organization Design”
I like the idea of elevating the potentialities that lie within digital technology. At the same time I am curious (not necessarily opposed) about the elimination of the “STS” terminology
Can someone fill me in on the thinking behind this.

I think Bert and Peter would be able to better explain this change. Back in April we added this:
To support the continued expansion and global outreach of the STS Design community, the relationship between the STS Roundtable and its ecosystem underwent a significant development in 2018. Inspired by our Dutch STS colleague Jac Christis’ writing on “smart organizing”, and informed by the digital transformation underway in our societies world-wide, we developed a new Network Charter and re-named our global network as “The Global Network for SMART Organization Design”.
