Socio-Technical Systems Roundtable (STS RT)

The STS RT purpose as a USA IRS 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization (NGO) is to engage in learning and education. Any information we collect will be used to promote our purpose of learning and education and tuning our website.

We intend to fully comply with the privacy requirements of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the requirements of other governments and governmental agencies.

We collect money from people who join STS RT, register for conferences and, in some cases, webinars. We collect money through PayPal. Therefore, we do not have bank account and/or geographic address information for you. If you do not have a PayPal account you can arrange to send a certified check to pay for your fees.

The information we will collect on your registration forms will be First, Middle, and Last names, email address, and phone number. We collect that information so that we can communicate with you directly and so that we can connect you electronically and telephonically with other people attending our events through an event or membership directory. The purpose of connecting you with others is to promote personal networking and collaboration on organization design issues.

If you do not want your information shared in an event or membership directory please tell us and we will not place it in the directory.

What we are trying to do is balance all of our privacy needs with the desire to promote an open, collaborative organization that is focused on learning and education.

Our site links to external websites and these links do not fall under the www.stsroundtable.com domain. As such, the STS Roundtable is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of external websites. Your use of any linked website is solely at your own risk.

The STS Roundtable may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer www.stsroundtable.com, and for statistical metrics used to anonymously track website visitor traffic.

You may opt out at any time by unsubscribing.

Our aim is to be transparent, fair, and reasonable. If you have any concerns or feedback about these issues, please contact any of the Stewards.

Note: The information on this form will be archived by the STS Roundtable. To establish a mentorship relationship, the Program Administrator will use the contact information provided to introduce you to potential mentees.
