Erik Nicholson, long-time member and current steward of the STS Roundtable (US) and co-founder of Semillero de Ideas led our 5th session of Making Work Worth Doing on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮8𝘁𝗵 August 𝟭𝟬 𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗧.
Erik’s work centers the experience, knowledge, and creativity of farmworkers to drive urgently needed innovation in agriculture—rethinking one of the most undervalued and essential industries of our time.
Together, we challenged everything we think we know about “unskilled labor” by placing farmworker knowledge at the center of innovation in one of the most overlooked industries: 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.
