Join us in New Orleans for an exciting STS Roundtable Conference

“Aligning Social and Technical Systems: Social Media and Self Organizing Work”

The Socio-technical Roundtable will convene our annual conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA from September 28 - October 1, 2011, as we explore, anticipate and adapt to the dynamic world of work in a rapidly changing world.

The conference will be held at The Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, housed in a converted historic rice mill near the Mississippi River in New Orleans. Located in the Arts and Warehouse district, it is a short walk from Canal Street and the French Quarter. The Riverfront, St. Charles, and Canal streetcars are nearby for easy access to the city.

The STS/RT Discounted Room Rate for Wyndham Hotel Reservations are $129 per night. To book your room for the meeting, call the toll-free central reservations number at the Wyndham Riverfront (1-866-907-0611) and specify that you will be attending the STS/RT Annual Meeting. The STS/RT discounted group rate is $129 per night, single or double. Alternatively, call the hotel directly at 1-504-524-8200 and the staff will direct you to the appropriate reservation personnel. If you choose to spend a few extra days in New Orleans, the Wyndham Riverfront will honor our special rate for several days before our meeting. Because of a city- wide convention starting on October 2nd, however, they cannot guarantee rooms or the rate after our meeting.

If you are not currently a paid member for 2011, please go to the Online Membership Enrollment Form. Membership fees are $200 (US) per year.

Fees for the conference are as follows:
